Default editor remains Notepad although I specified Notepad++

Description
I use Filezilla 3.5.0, my OS is Windows 7 .
In Edit/Settings, I sepcify "use custom editor" and select Notepad++ using the Browse button
and use filetype associations if available
Click OK
However when I view, edit a file, it opens it with Notepad, as opposed to Notepad++.

Do you still have that issue with current version of FileZilla? Other related issues are #5428 and #8325.
