Keep directory selection after leaving a directoty

Description
Hello.
I would like to ask you to make a modification in directory navigation: after I leave a directory (go one level up), the selection jumps back to the beginning of the list. I think it would be much better if selection would stay on the directory I've just left. Thank you in advance.
