Slashes in directory name

I use filezilla to connect to a mainframe system.
Couldn't change directories because slashes are
appended to the dir name. I think the user should be
allowed to put anything as dir name w/o any 'automatic

This bug report has been closed due to inactivity and has possibly
already been solved.
You can reopen this report if the issue still exists in the
latest version of FileZilla (Server).

I can test this if anyone works on it. There has been some
recent interest on the Linux-390 mailing list in developing a
patch to fix this and provide support for z/OS as an FTP
