Client: Local file list tilde (~) sort bug

Component version: Operating system type:
Operating system version:

Description

Found in FileZilla client 2.2.3:

If there is a folder that begins with a tilde symbol
(~) with other alphabetically-named folders,

  • it will appear at or near the top of the treeview, and
  • it will appear at or near the bottom of the file list.

I attached a screenshot showing an example in the local
pane, though I first noticed it in the remote pane (so
it happens in both).

Thx for reporting this, will be fixed in the next version.

I am reopening this bug, under an updated summary tag,
because it was not fully fixed for 2.2.4. It was fixed in
the remote file list, but it is still an issue in the local
file list.

See the newly attached screenshot,
"local_file_list_tilde_sort_bug_yet.png".

Thanks.

OK, I had no idea 2.2.4b was released, but this new issue
occurs in 2.2.4b, too. Thanks.

Will be fixed in next version. Previous fix did only work if
sorting by filename.
