Description
Hello!
It would be great if the private key password for SSL connections is kept encrypted in FileZilla Server XML configuration file as it is with ftp user passwords.

It appears that this isn't going to get implemented. I'm closing this ticket due to its age.

Triage suggestion
It seems like encrypting this would only provide the illusion of security -- the encryption key would still have to be kept somewhere in plain text. I think it would only give users a false sense of security. In addition, there has been no movement on this ticket in 7 years.
I recommend closing the ticket as "rejected".
