Critical Transfer Error with Serv-U on Windows

Description
I am experiencing a critical transfer error trying to
contact a Serv-U FTP-Server on a Windows machine. A
detailed log is attached. I am using FileZilla 2.2.1a.
Version 2.1.5 does not appear to do this.

I would like to confirm that I am getting the same error. If
I use another FTP client, I can upload the file without any
problem. So it's safe to rule out permissions.
However, if I upload files to any other folder than the
root, it works without any hitch. I seem to only be getting
this error on the root.
Server version is: Serv-U FTP-Server v2.5m

This bug report has been closed due to inactivity and has possibly
already been solved.
You can reopen this report if the issue still exists in the
latest version of FileZilla (Server).
