Description
I use Filezilla 3.2.7.1.
- I connect to some ftp site.
- Then I double click on a folder which contains ~10 000 files.
- (Filezilla wants to open the folder and list all files now)
- So I get a response:
"Odpowiedź 125 Data connection already open; Transfer starting."
- I wait a looong time and nothing happens.
I think that before Filezilla opens a folder, it loads all file names to the memory. If folder has 10000 files, there is a problem.
My suggested solution:
...make some cashe? or load only those file names, which are on the first screen?
Compare:
Total commander doesn't have this problem.

See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
The FTP protocol does not provide any means to only load a partial file list from the server. FileZilla has been successfully tested with directories containing over a million files.
Most likely your server is either terribly slow or you've got some broken router and/or firewall that's disrupting FileZilla.
