Description
Why is the function "file name filters" in the menu "View", but "force showing hidden files" is in the menu "Server"? The commands do very similar things - if you look at it from the users point of view. Ordinary users do not care if the second function is processed on the server and the first on the client.
I think both items should be in the "View" menu side by side for usability reasons.

Hello,
I wonder why there is no an option the in View menu to show/hide hidden files. If the purpose of the View menu is to do actions globally, then that option should apply in such a way, i.e., in the local and remote views. Its quite surprising that something as simple (and useful) like this requires more than two mouse clicks to get it done. Apart from this, such an option should be in a really accessible place and I cannot think about a better place for it than the View menu. Thus, I hope you accept this time to include an option to show/hide hidden files. What ever your decision is, thanks a million for working so hard on Filezilla!
Best regards! ;-)
The View menu shows options that affect the global interface or both the local and remote views. The server menu on the other hand only affects the server stuff.
Note that the hidden files stuff might be removed in future since it is part of the FTP specifications.
