Hidden file silently overwritten

Description
When the option 'Force showing hidden files' (which should be in the View menu btw) is turned off, FileZilla will overwrite hidden files on the server without asking for a confirmation, even when confirmations are set to 'Ask for Action'. If I turn on the option 'Force showing hidden files' FileZilla behaves as expected.
I feel this behaviour is undesirable. Even though the hidden file cannot be seen in the file list, doesn't mean it should be overwritten if it exists.
I am using version 3.2.4 of FileZilla Client.

The "Force showing hidden files" option will be removed in a future version, it is only needed on broken servers that hide files from the user.
You have to contact the server administrator so that he can fix the server configuration of upgrade to a better server.
If FileZilla cannot see a file, it obviously cannot show a file exists dialog.
