Screen res & background pic changed when updating

Description
Upon launching my previous version of the FileZilla client today, I received a message to download an updated version. I did this, and then proceeded to install it. However, upon initializing the installation, my Windows screen resolution was altered from 1280*1024 to 1024*768. Also, instead of the desktop background I previously had, I now have a black background. I am unable to successfully revert my resolution back to 1280*1024 as well (have not attempted a reset at this point).

FileZilla does not and can not change your screen resolution or desktop background.
Most likely starting the installer was just the straw breaking the camel's back, triggering an already preexisting fault with your system.
Note that Windows 7 build 7000 is outdated already, you should update.
Upon restarting the computer, the desktop background was restored, and I was again able to successfully change the screen resolution back to 1280*1024.
