difficulty transferring files

Description
On both programs i have experienced the following error:
Command: PASS
Response: 421 I can't accept more than 1 connections as the same user
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Delaying connection due to previously failed connection attempt...

Status: Delaying connection due to previously failed connection attempt...
This error is negated by terminating the connection which allows the transfer to take place. it occurs in both the down and upload routine.

Horribly broken server configuration. You want to have a serious talk with the server administrator's boss.
As workaround, use the site manager to limit the number of connections.
