Remote file list does not show more than 1998 files at a time

Description
Using FileZilla 3.1.6
When logging in to cpanel account FZ fails to list more than 1998 files. Unable to select more than the 1998 files to delete from a directory. I have to select all 1998, delete, then exit the folder, go back in, and the rest of the files show up.
This happens on both Mac and Windows versions.
