Description
Feature Request:
Currenly only ASCII type files can be defined in
preference. Instead of that, each time file zilla finds a
new extension, it should ask the user to select the
transfer type and it should keep it in memory
permanently.
For example if the transfer a file with extension .class
then first time it should ask the transfer type, then next
time onwards it should use the same transfer type.
If there is extension for a file then it should ask the
transfer type every time.
The above options can be enabled by adding one-more
option Transfer->Transfer Type->Ask
This feature will greatly help us!
Thanks!

In the third paragraph of original description 'NO' is
missing. Please read it as follows:
If there is NO extension for a file then it should ask the
transfer type every time.

This bug report has been closed due to inactivity and has possibly
already been solved.
You can reopen this report if the issue still exists in the
latest version of FileZilla (Server).
Mostly make files won't have any extension, when try to
transfer with "auto" option it transfers it as binary file. The
above option will greatly help to resolove this issue and
others. Because when try transfer hundreds of file with
different extension I am facing lot of problems.
