Description
I try FileZilla 1.6.
Seem very interesting.
It work well when I test it with "www.suse.de"
I can see the directories and files on their site.
But when I try on our NT 4 server, the connection is
OK, but I don't see the list of files and directories!
I only see the ".." entry. No other elements !
If I try simply in a DOS box, with the FTP client of
NT4, it work. I can see the list of files with
the "ls" command.
I think the Telnet/FTP server on the NT4 server is
Fictional Daemon v4.1 (http://www.fictional.net)
How can I solde this problem ?
I will also go on the Fictional Daemon web site to see
if this problem is know...
Thanks a lot
Didier

Here's a test release. If the files still don't show up,
please send the file "C:\FileZilla DirList.txt" to
Tim.Kosse@…

Thank you.
It work now with the NT4 server and Fictional Daemon 4.1 in
Paris (french names for months)
But it doesn't work in Brussels (NT4, Fictional 4.2), where
the months names are in English...
Ok, I see the problem...
for the directories, the date is like "Jan 01 2001" ...
but for the files, the date is "Apr5 28" ...
NO space between month and day !
I will try the previous Fictional 4.1, and try to contact
them.
It's a bug in Fictional Deamon.
Fictonal Deamon uses the locale settings of the computer it
is installed. So if FD is installed on a computer with the
german locale, it uses the german names for the months, not
the english ones. Currently FileZilla only understands the
English ones, but I'll add the month names from other
languages (at least german and french).
