Description
Hi,
I'm encountering an issue with Filezilla 3.1.0.1 on Windows XP.(I encounter exactly same problem with FileZilla 2.2.25 since months/years)
When i try to upload files thanks to FTP using Socks proxy, some of files are truncated. If i reupload the same file just after the first upload we can see the file size difference (see screenshot). An other point is that just after upload the size of file on remote server in filezilla seems correct, but after a refresh (F5) the this is the real size (trucated file size).
Original file is:
http://maubeuge2008.org/testseb/pbftp/10031_ff2-good.jpg
Uploaded file is: http://maubeuge2008.org/testseb/pbftp/10031_ff2.jpg
It seems very similar to closed bug id #1662435.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Tim,
The problem is that i can't find any way to download this legacy version.
Legacy 2.x client is downloadable from SF download page according to http://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Download ... but it is not available anymore.
If you can point me out where i can downlod it, i will do the test.
Thanks
Seb

Socks proxy is provided by Putty 0.59 establishing a ssh connexion to a OpenSSH_4.6p1 server.
In Putty config: Connection -> SSH -> Tunnels -> Dynamic Destination (aka Socks proxy)

Interesting, I had no idea PuTTY could act as a proxy like this.
Since PuTTY 0.59 rather old, please try 0.60, or even better, the most recent development snapshot.

I just tested with latest Putty snapshot available (2008-08-01:r8121) and produce the same behavior: uploaded file is still truncated.

Please run a network sniffer like for example Wireshark to monitor the data flow between FileZilla and PuTTY. Does the complete file get sent to PuTTY?
