Description
When uploading a file using FileZilla in my intranet from
Win2k to IBM AIX, it takes about 2 minutes to upload a
8MB file. Achieving a 79KB/s throughput.
When using ftp in the MSDOS command prompt, it takes
about 3 seconds. However, download files in the same
environment only takes about 3 seconds. Upload from
Win2k to Win2k machines took 30 seconds with FileZilla
while ftp from command prompt took 3 seconds. There
is no speed limit set.

Same thing here. Upload speed is ~80KB/s to either my linux
server or to my xbox. I can start up 2 or 3 connections, and
they will all do ~80KB/s, so the total throughput will go
over 80KB/s, just not per connection. Other FTP client goes
about 9MB/s to same machines.

same issue with only one site. I upload to another site at
full speed but for the first site, limited to 16.4 Kb :-(

This bug report has been closed due to inactivity and has possibly
already been solved.
You can reopen this report if the issue still exists in the
latest version of FileZilla (Server).

The same problem appears here.
Client System: WinXP, AMD 2400+, 1GB RAM, Intel Pro/100S,
FileZilla 2.1.7.
Server System: FreeBSD 4.8, Intel P3-450, 512MB RAM, Intel
Pro/100S, Pure-FTPd 1.0.14.
Symptoms: When i try to upload files to my FreeBSD systems,
the upload-rate drops to very low values. Sometimes, when i
transfer many little files from the BSD-Box to my
WinXP-Workstation, this happens with downloads, too. In the
debug-logs are no suspect entries. Like my predecessor
wrote, with the included WinXP-ftp-client everything works
in expected speed.
Thanks for this great software! i hope this problem will get
fixed.
