Description
On my Mac OS X system, (details follows):
System Version: Mac OS X 10.4.10 (8R2218)
Kernel Version: Darwin 8.10.1
The main window is constantly jumping off the screen.
I have two physical monitors connected to the ATI X1900XT graphics card and FileZilla's window seems to reposition itself off those screens whenever I do something like Maximize or open a child window in the application.
I just downloaded and installed the current released version today.
This doesn't happen on the PC/Windows version I use.

Downloaded version 3 today (2007/09/20) and had the same problem. Also using Mac OS/X 10.4.10 and Darwin kernel 8.10.1.

I've just tried it myself on OS X using the most recent nightly build from http://filezilla-project.org/nightly.php
Opening child windows did not reposition the main window, neither did maximizing and restoring.
Can you reproduce this issue using the most recent nightly build?

I have tried the nightly build of the day with my both computers (see message below) and the main window stays at it place now, so it's ok, this problem is solved : thanks !

As the original poster of the bug, I too tried it this morning.
I did NOT see the problem occurring in the latest nightly build.

Hi,
I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.10. I donwloaded The lates fileZilla version for mac (3.0.1)
I to experience the problem that the main window jumps to the bottom of the screen every time a child dialog is opend (for example when you chmod files)
if you need more info, let me know ;)
Adding to what Bob started - The main filezilla client main window moves location automatically when another filezilla sub-window is opened like site manager, about, etc. This started occurring in 3.0.1.1
