Is it possible to run FileZilla in a debugger to get a backtrace of the crash? The given report doesn't contain information on where it crashed...

Furthermore, can you test the latest nightly build for Windows, to see if it crashes as well for the first time? You can download it from <http://filezilla-project.org/nightly.php>; the build is called "i586-mingw32msvc".

Thanks for reporting. This issue has been fixed in the CVS
repository and will be available with the next version.

This crash can happen if the automatic update check fails. In the worst case, it crashes once every 7 days on startup.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
