Description
Please bring back the "Default site" option to the Site Manager. This option allows a particular site to be selected automatically upon opening the Site Manager. This feature was in FileZilla 2.x. For more info, see 1792193.

Well, it's not the same thing. The Default site option is preferred when (for example) accessing one particular server 95% of the time and anything else only 5% of the time. With the current "previous selection" functionality, you would need to remember to reselect the frequent server again after every time you use one of your infrequent servers. With the Default site functionality, this isn't an issue. This feature is a minor convenience, but not totally necessary.

I would prefer an option that would make FileZilla automatically connect to a start when the program is run. I visit a single FTP site 95% of the time, so this feature, though not totally necessary, would be major convenience for me. ;)

Use the -c commandline argument, it connects to the specified site. See man page for details.
Far more powerful than a "default site" option.
Current version remembers the previous selection in the site manager. Is this sufficient?
