Description
I have the need to download a lot of litlle files with the original date/time information. Why your client has choosen to apply the 'actual' date/time instead of keep the original ones?

I was really surprised not to see this option in the settings dialogs (nor the app settings, nor the connection settings).
It seams that implementing it in just in the menu bar is not the best decision.

Summary: | Keep Original Date/Time → add "Preserve timestamps on transferred files" to transfer settings |

The setting is already present in the menu bar. But it should also be available in the transfer settings preferences.
FileZilla 3 creates a file to be downloaded on the local file system and then puts each received byte in there. The operating system put the date of file creation into the file creation field. So this is nothing FileZilla choses but your operating system.
However, FileZilla has the option Transfer -> Preserve timestamps on transferred files. With this option enabled, downloaded files have the same timestamp as the ones one the remote side. Closing this feature request as it is implemented already.
