Description

If i use vista for upload, there are many hidden system files in my profile directory. So it would be more clear if i could hide all hidden files on windows.

You can use the directory listing filters.

How can i filter based on directory attributes? I only see filters based on names.

Taken from now deleted:
[ 1878895 ] File filter based file attributes

"So it would be good if i can create a filter based on file attributes insted only of filename and filesize." -- This allows to hide files/directories on Windows which have the system or hidden attribute set.

Bump for emphasis. :)

Filters would be very useful - for instance to automaically keep the "svn"-metadata directories out of the que, or to avoid transfering XP's "thumbs.db"

In other words: please add filters to filezilla, allow us to keep files from the que based on file names and/or attributes, please.

Thanks a lot!

This issue is fixed in lastest versions but no dev has set it to closed.

You can do this by View->Filename Filters->Edit filters->New->Add more the change "Filename" to "Attribute" select "Hidden" on drop down box right to it and at least "is set".

My bad! I didn't realize the topic was answered, fixed and long since dead. God I hate this site. :/

Apologies!
