Description
It would be useful on Unix/Linux systems to have the option to show or hide hidden folders on the local server, as we do on the remote one. An option in the right-click menu and/or Ctrl+H would be perfect.

There is no shortcut for a particular filter, but switching between show and hide "hidden" files most likely isn't needed often anyway.

FileZilla 3 has filters implemented. The "Edit" menu has an item called "file name filters". There, you can create a new filter which hides all (local) files whose names begin with a dot, for example.
