Description
Two useful features are already done to connections created from site manager:
- Use non-unicode locale.
- reuse command link thread to transfer data when thread num is limited to 1.
But if I create a quick connection from the address bar or history list, these two feature seems not work.
So please make these two usefule feature work on quick connections
Thanks.

I‘m sorry to hear that.
A server with non-unicode locale is very common in the world, although people from English-speaking area won't be affected by this locale thing. They are not broken servers, just a little old.
Technically, the right way of accessing data from a single-socket-thread ftp server is to reuse the command thread with the transfering thread. They are not broken servers, just a little strict.
So please consider this small feature request again.
Thanks.
(At least millions of chinese are waiting thirsty for this).

Using non-english characters with any encoding other than UTF-8 is in violation to the FTP specifications. I won't promote this.

Thank you for your patience.
The UTF-8 thing is asked in a relatively new rfc, but old ftp sites and ftp server softwares are still on line. So if you are creating a nice free open source software, making it compatible is not an over request, I think.
And How do you think about the single-thread-reusing thing?
Filezilla is the one give me concepts of free software. So I love it. Now I not only want to use it on non-windows os, but also want to see the pure free version of filezilla 3(wxWidgets instead of MFC, MFC cannot compiled by free compiler) better and better.
Thank you again.
No.
These options are only needed on broken servers.
