Description
Hi,
i've unistalled filezilla client 2.32 and installed the version 3.0 some days ago and everything is really ok..
But there is a mistake in the new one..there isn't the button "minimize to system tray" near the other button in the high corner right!..It was really useful!
Is possible put it again on the bar?
Another question..
Is possible add the total download/upload speed transfer in the window that appear on the icon that will be in the system tray? (look the attached file).
Thanks a lot.
Savino

These are two of my pet peeves with the FileZilla 3-branch too. The total transfer speed information especially, would be very nice to get back.

My addition would be to suggest that the "X" button not knock the FileZilla program out of the system tray but instead to make it minimize itself back to the system tray. A good example is MWSnap. MWSnap has an option that you can turn on which says that when you close the window, instead minimize MWSnap to the system tray. This prevents unwanted ending of the program. Which I think FileZilla should also use as a safety method. Then either way the user is just minimizing the program. The File->Exit option can always be used to actually exit the program.

Yes! Please add aggregate throughput and individual file transfer statistics. The aggregate throughput is especially useful. Other useful pieces of info is peak transfer speed and average transfer speed for a queue.

I know, not supposed to harp, but I, too, would really like being able to minimize to the system tray. It's inconvenient to have filezilla take up a spot on the task bar for really, really long uploads. I'd just like to forget about it and have it run in the background somewhere. The previous version of client did it, and I have been eagerly awaiting this feature since the (brilliant) new version came out.
All that aside, this software is world-class; it's so wonderful and I'm so glad I have it. Thanks for your hard work!
