Ditto. At a minimum, implement the FTP proxy configuration. I think the three different sets of proxy settings in 2.x were redundant. Another possibility is to have a default proxy configured in global settings and an overrides proxy configuration for each individual connection. This would expand the capability for individual connections beyond the 2.x "Bypass proxy settings" option.
Right now, if any proxy settings are available at all in 3.x, they are only in the wizard. And you can't pass the FTP IP address validation test because the proxy config isn't done before the attempt to connect to the validator (which resides outside the firewall). So it's impossible to configure connections that have to go through a proxy.
And yes, I'm using 2.x until 3.x has the desired features, but that would apply for any 2.x features missing in 3.x, so I don't think that justifies a reduction in priority of this issue. At least not in comparison with other missing 2.x features.

As of version 3.0.4, FileZilla has (global) proxy support implemented. As site manager specific proxy settings were suggested, this RFE is about those now instead.

I do not understand the connection between the wizard and your proxy configuration. Can you please explain it if it still is relevant?

I right now noticed that individual proxy settings for site manager items has been suggested already. Closing this RFE because of that.

@bwcbwc:
Please file a new bug report if you have issues with the global proxy settings. Thanks.
FileZilla 2 and FileZilla 3 can peacefully coexist on the same system. If you were using FileZilla 2 (on Windows), you can keep using it until FileZilla 3 has all the features you need.
