Description
I can see too many files when I connect to my linux sftp server using by Filezilla3 rc1.
Because there are files start with dot(for example, .bashrc). It means, as you know, hidden files.
In most cases, there is no need to show hidden file I think.
So, please add option to control show/hide hidden files or filter option to control what kind of files to be shown.

FileZilla 3.0.0-rc1 supports filtering. Using the last button on the toolbar, you can setup a filter to remove all files (and directories at will), if they start with a dot.
Closing this feature request.
The SFTP protocol does not support this. Please install a proper SFTP server which does not hide files from the user.
