Ignore specific filenames or extensions

I'm frequently uploading web sites with lots of
graphics made in windows clients. Each directory has a
file called thumbs.db made by windows that stores the
thumbs for faster view I asume. However this files
takes up large space and is completely useles at the
web. It would be great if filezilla had an option to
ignore filenames, extensions or both, based on user
input at config menu. I think it would almost double my
upload speeds.

This would be huge for me as well - I want to ignore all ".svn" directories.
