quickconnect automatically fills in anonymous

I tried getting around the user name length bug in
filezilla by using quickconnect with the address and
port filled in only. filzilla then fills in user with
'anonymous'

I should be able to leave it blank and fill it out
after connecting. I would suggest including a 'login
as anonymous' button if your concerened about users
having to type anonymous.

What do you mean by "user name length bug"?

Maybe an interactive quick connect is what is wanted? This means that the user has to enter user name and password in a popped up dialog box - and they both do not get stored in the quick connect history.
