Description
Hi,
I would like to be able to get to remote UNC shares while
working with the FileZilla client. For example, I would
like to be able to get to
server1\share1\file1.txt
and "put" it to ftp.someftpsite.com.

Another vote for this feature request. Back and forth transfer
between local network paths (UNC) and FTP servers saves
an extra manual copy or mapping a network drive.

Definitely a very glaring omission currently. I think ALL
applications should natively support UNC. Support for UNC
should be regarded as same level of importance as local
drives.

I'm hoping that this bubbles back up in the feature list by
adding another comment. UNC capability is missing. Please
consider adding it to the next release.
I'd like to vote for this feature request as I'm using FileZilla on
a laptop from within various network environments. Although
it does work, it's terrible to manually setup the network drives
over and over again in those networks (keeping them is not
an option at all). The interim-solution is a very basic batch
file named after the network I'm in again, which will just setup
the network drives and then startup FileZilla. Sigh... I guess
this isn't the way it should be?
