Preserving file time/date on uploading

Description
I think is useful to preserve file time/date on
uploading on both standard 'FTP' and 'FTP over SSH' [SFTP].

I would like to add that this would double the use of the
program for me, all the features that I regularly use are in it,
except for the preserving of file dates on upload, this would
make it a lot easier for me to keep my uploaded photo's sorted
without looking in the metadata.
Thanks for the brilliant program BTW!

Without extending the FTP protocol, it's not possible to
preserve the date/time of uploaded files.

Here, here. FileZilla seems to be wickedly quick, but without
the preservation of time-stamps, it's useless to me when
synch'ing with other applications, e.g. Dreamweaver
