Exclude files of type ...

Hi:

I am using WinXP at home and it creates a file called
Thumbs.db in any folder that I browse with Windows
Explorer where the view is set to Thumbnails. I would
like to request that FileZilla have an option to
automatically exclude certain files either by full name,
eg. Thumbs.db or by type, eg. *.db.

Love using FileZilla, have been recommending it to many
people.

Exclude them when doing what?

You don't want FZ Server to list them?
You don't want FZ Client to list them?
You want to disclude them for transfers? (When you select
all? When you grab a while directory?)

Be more specific.

I guess he means to exclude them from being uploaded (other
files that might fall into this category are desktop.ini and
folder.htt - created when you customise a folder)

Dreamweaver has this feature, where it will automatically
exclude specified files from upload(it calls this cloaking.) The
files are visible, but will not be uploaded. This is useful for
system files, and for certain source files, like flash FLA,
Fireworks PNG or Photoshop files. Cloaking can then be
activated or deactivated. the feature also extends to folders
so that certain folders can be excluded from being uploaded. I
would find it very useful
