Description
Hi,
I think that one of the most useful feature of a FTP
client is the "Compare directories" one : when applying
it, it selects the files that don't have the same size,
or the same name in the two explorers (the local one
and the server one).
It permits not to know which files you have to update
on your server.
I hope you can understand me, I'm a 18-years-old
frenchman :)

Excuse-me codesquid,
I'm new to sourceforge.net, submitted a feature for the 1st
time and wanted to put priority to 6 from the beginning. I
had put 5, then I changed the value to 6, you put 3, and I
think it was because I had made a mistake (I thought I had
put 3 instea of 6), then I changed again to 6. I didn't know
that it is the project admin who chooses the priority (but
it is logic in fact !).
Excuse-me again for having done this (and for my bad english
too), and you're right, the priority is 3 (someone had
already sent this idea...).

Yes, the "compare directory" is very useful.
Sometimes I've to use FTP Expert to compare directories,
then use FileZilla to do the transferts...
PS: I'm also a frenchman, but older (48)
