Description (last modified by )
I'd like to use filezilla to connect to a server via ISDN and
transfer with compression enabled. I use this option a
lot when using SCP and it makes a huge difference.
I think I can see some of what is needed and if you
could give me a pointer i'll have a go myself (though I
haven't got filezilla to compile yet, i dont have the
include file dbghelp.h).

Is this ever coming back? We use FileZilla to transfer hundreds of megabytes of logs from remote locations, and compression over SFTP would speed this up tremendously.

I'll implement this in one of the next versions of FileZilla.
About your compile problem:
dbghelp.h is part of the MS Platform SDK, please read
the "Compiling FileZilla" section in the documentation.
Also, the SFTP connection is handled in FzSFtp.exe, which
does not require dbghelp.h
