Description
It would be nice to be able to bookmark different
directories on a site, so you didn't have to browse
around a large server every time to get from your the
login folder to one of the many different folders you
always use.
example:
login folder could be the users home directory which he
often needs to access, and thus have set up as default.
but same user could often be working in other
directories far away in the directory structure. if he could
bookmark this he could navigate the server fast and
easy instead of as now slow and cumbersome.

Bookmarking folders should be possible per site for local folders alone, remote folders alone, and local+remote folder together (see [ 1265479 ] Bookmarks).

I agree with this suggestion. I work on several servers each day, some of which host a dozen sites or more. To be able in a couple of clicks to navigate from the server root past all the fluff to the exact directory I need by way of a bookmark--and then to use another bookmark to go from there to another directory--would be most helpful and efficient.

Bookmarks have been implemented in 3.2.0-rc1

Bookmarks are also useful for non-technical users. If you can
say 'go to bookmark X' or 'go to favourite Y' and it logs them
into the correct location, it reduces support costs.
SmartFTP has a similiar feature.
