remote host to remote host transfers?

Are there any plans to support remote-to-remote
transfers? with some ftp clients (eg, Novell's Rapid
Filer), you can open two remote windows, no local, and
perform transfers directly between the hosts without
passing though the local machine - as you can imagine
if your control console is on dialup, and the two remote
machines are both on the same remote site, the time
saving there is considerable.

feature, which name is more appropriate.
