Button for transfer type(auto/ascii/bin)

Greetings,
It would be very handy if I could see which tranfer type is set. Now I have to go to the menu (transfer->Tranfer type) to see which is selected. Buttons on the toolbar to change the tranfer type would be handy. Ther could be 3 buttons (one for each type).De color of the button could indicate if that trnafer type is selected.

Still, this is one great program. Thanks.

Here is a slightly different idea. Should be easier to implement:

There is already a "transfer type" icon, but it is in the status bar. I want to left click this icon. When left clicking, the icon should rotate through all three states.

Besides, it would be nice if not only the icon would be visible but the icon plus a little text ("ASCII", "Binary", "Auto"). This would make the thing a lot clearer for first time users.

Yes, of course. Left click should work different, it should instantly switch between ASCII->Binary->Auto->ASCII->... without selecting an item from a context menu.
