Ditto. FileZilla 2.1a uploads at a pathetic 30-50k/s, while
LeechFTP, open at the same time, transferring the same files
to the same server, hits near wire speed (1m/s in this case). I
notice that if I open another app (or even just click the start
button) and send LeechFTP into the background, it
immediately also drops to 30-50k/s. As soon as I bring it back
to the foreground, it hits 1m/s again. It's as if FileZilla is
operating at background priority even when it's in the
foreground.

i add, that i have the latest FileZilla, the 1.9.9, and the
serveur is a ProFTPD1.2.5rc1
