Description
Checking "Show hidden files" in "View" menu will
always be resetted after restarting FileZilla. There is no
option for setting it by default.

isnt that twisted ?
all settings from the view menu are saved, why not the view
hidden files ?

It's not twisted, for some of the other menu items there are
corresponding settings in the settings dialog and those can be
set to "remember last used settings" (some have this by
default).
For the show hidden files, such a setting would not make
much sense.
