App is not responding on Mac

Description
When I try to open the app I get a message 'FileZilla is not responding' and I have to Force Quit.
I tried deleting the app and downloading the latest version but get the same problem.
I was trying to access the app because up to now all my transfers were of files in my documents folder on the Mac. However all these files are now in the cloud and not on the Mac and I wanted to see how to manage transfers in the new circumstances. I don't know if relocating the files is relevant or the problem with FileZilla is just coincidence.
I last used FileZilla succesfully on Jan 1st.
