Description
Hi Team,
I hope all is well.
I work with an MSP and one of my clients are having issues connecting to FileZilla when attempting to upload a file to a client.
When first connecting to server, after they enter their password, FileZilla is able to successfully pull down the directory. However, the moment they try to upload something is when they receive the below error message.
Status: Using username "*".
Status: Connected to
Status: Retrieving directory listing of ""...
Status: Listing directory *
Status: Directory listing of "" successful
Status: Connecting to http://*******:5022...
Status: Using username "".
Status: Server refused our key
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Disconnected from server
Status: Delaying connection for 5 seconds due to previously failed
I have blanked out the details.
What we have done so far is
- Allowing FileZilla in Defender Firewall settings
- Allowing File and Printer Sharing in Defender Firewall settings
- Add Inbound and Outbound rules to open ports 20, 21, and 22 (Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security)
- Set file path for what the user thought was the correct .ppk private key (in FileZilla)
- disable Netskope
- Add Inbound and Outbound rules to open port 5022 (Windows Defender - - Firewall with Advanced Security
- Try launching FileZilla as administrator
- Try the each of the two .ppk keys located on her desktop
- Double-check the syntax is correct for the keys
Create new Site Manager config
- Try connecting with password (no key)
Thanks,
Mark
