Priority: | high | Component: | FileZilla Server |
Keywords: | public ip, passive mode | Cc: | |
Component version: | 1.9.0 built for x86_64-w64-mingw32 | Operating system type: | Windows |
Operating system version: | Windows Server 2022 Datacenter Azure Edition 21H2 (build 20348.2655) |
Description
We have to set Public IP or hostname: (leave it empty to use the local IP) every time we open the configuration in the "Administration interface". If we save it without updating this field, it is removed and passive FTP connections starts failing.
Workaround: Set Public IP or hostname: (leave it empty to use the local IP) before saving every time we do any configuration changes.
FileZilla version
Fails on the latest version, 1.9.0, and the older versions will not work on this Windows version.
How to Reproduce
In FileZilla Server Administration interface, go to Server → Configure…, then navigate to Protocol settings → FTP and FTP over TLS (FTPS) → Tab: Passive mode. Enter the hostname or IP in Public IP or hostname: (leave it empty to use the local IP). Click OK. Open the configuration window (same as above) and it is now unset, do any changes and click okay. It is now unset.
