#12978 new Other

SFTP Mac App Store unable to use ssh-agent

Component version: FileZilla Pro 3.65.1 Operating system type: OS X
Operating system version: Ventura 13.3.1 (a)

Description

FileZilla Pro (Mac App Store) 3.65.1 is unable to use ssh-agent for SFTP (see attached filezilla.log, redacted). However, a similarly-configured FileZilla (free) 3.65.0 correctly uses ssh-agent as expected.

I am using Site Manager to configure the site (see attached sitemanager.xml, redacted)

I note that this Cyberduck documentation says:

(Public Key Authentication Using SSH Agent) is not supported when running Cyberduck from the Mac App Store because of sandboxing restrictions.

I'm guessing that similar restrictions apply for FileZilla. If so, can this special case be documented (possibly here and/or here)?
