Would it be appropriate to ask for an appeal - openssh has progressed somewhat in 18 years

I would kinda understand if you don't want to recode the program to use a different library, but since it would also be nice to get the ssh-agent.exe in windows10 and 11 to be supported.
Would it be possible to add support in the form of some mutator,(does psftp support openssh key-agent?), script that ingests from ssh-agent and pipes it to psftp,
even if it came in an form of opting in via the settings panel.
Microsoft has seemingly been bundling it with windows 10 and above.
