Hello, I am having this issue as well.
New virtual machine with Server 2022. Using the latest version as of 2022-01-21 at 10:37 PM.
Specified /Desktop and /Downloads as virtual paths pointing to C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop and C:\Users\Administrator\Downloads respectively. Using FileZilla client to connect.
Error on FileZilla server:
Entry '' has empty native path and no mount nodes: this should never happen.
On FileZilla client:
Response: 550 Couldn't open the file or directory Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing
Removed both virtual folders and specified a virtual path of / to C:\Users\Administrator\Downloads and no error message.

I realize an adjustment to FileZilla client may be needed but was thrown off by this since they're both FileZilla. :-)
Your client is attempting to list / for which there is no mount point.
Instruct your client to list a shared mount point or change your mount points to include the root.
