If those are two different things, export then reimport of settings should not loose site.

I'm not sure if that's the same problem, but here all FZ2 sites got lost after I tried to import the settings xml file with FZ3.

Please read below. I do not try to export or import sites.
The process is the following.
Set some sites in your site manager.
Go to Edit > Export settings
Go to Edit > Import settings and reimport the previous settings
Go back to site manager :
BUG: The previously stored sites are lost.

Since this problem only happens on 2.x and 2.x is outdated, it won't be fixed.

How can you say 2.x is outdated where a lot of features from 2.x did not make it in 3.x.
I cannot use 3.x because it does not provide proxy settings. Please either fix this bug in 2.x or have 3.x having at least the same functionalities as 2.x.
Thanks in advance

Because I have neither the time nor the resources to maintain outdated code.
This is by design, sites and settings are different things. Please have a look at the menu within the site manager.
