Filezilla Pro: MacOS Subscription

The application fails to move beyond Getting started with FileZilla Pro screen upon purchase from the MacOS App Store. When the only options available are Subscribe (center screen under logo) or Quit (bottom right). I cancelled the subscription. Pressing the Subscribe button only extends the subscription after current subscription period ends.

Please start FileZilla Pro and attempt a restore. If this doesn't work, please press Tab, then Cmd+Shift+L and submit the resulting log.

I had the same problem. Downloaded the app from Mac App Store, purchased subscription and the app is just not working. Keeps showing the "subscribe" screen.

Was able to work around this by

  • delete the app (dragging it into the bin)
  • empty the bin
  • download again from Mac App Store

Now it is working.
