Compared directory selection count wrong when selected with Shift-Ctrl-A

Description
To reproduce:
View > Directory comparison > Enable (or press Ctrl-O)
Set focus to a directory that has differences and press Shift-Ctrl-A
Note the number shown in the status of the pane: "Selected x directories".
Current result:
The number of selected directories is actually the total number of directories shown.
Expected result:
The number of selected directories should be those that differ and are selected and highlighted.
