Description
I'm using notepad++ as an text editor and edit files using filezilla.
I keep my windows open for days/weeks, so i keep notepad++ and filezilla open for all that time. I also put my computer to hibernate each day.
Randomly, on notepad++ i see that some of the edited files are not existing anymore. I checked on the temporary folder and indeed they are not there anymore.
I had this issue for years, i think even on another computer

Unless you close FileZilla or explicitly tell FileZilla that you are done editing, it does not delete temporary files used for editing.
Windows itself however can delete temporary files. Check Windows Settings under System -> Storage.

even worse, i don't know if it's related to the same problem or not, but the following bug happens sometimes :
I just created a new file on the server, right click on it then edit (which open notepad++), and on notepad++ it have opened a file i already had opened (a different file in a different folder but with the same filename) and it asked me if i want to reload the file.
So randomly filezilla is mixing previous opened files with new ones having the same filename.
Is there a limit of the number of files opened at the same time on filezilla ?
Some other files opened at around the same time and still open on notepad++ are still existing. I don't know what triggers the deletion of the files
