#121 closed Bug report

Cannot create new directories on remote

Description

With 1.9.7, any attempt I make to create a new directory
on the remote server (or copy a folder to the remote
server) gets "550 /Temp/foo/: Bad file descriptor". The
remote server is a NetBSD box running its standard
FTP server. /Temp is correctly owned by the ftp user. I
have no problem creating new directories and copying
folders with other FTP clients in that directory, so it's
pretty clearly FileZilla's problem.

Linux ftp?

No, NetBSD FTP, which is based on very different code
(lukemftp instead of WUFTP). This makes it look even more
like a FileZilla client problem...

Will be fixed in FileZilla 1.9.8
A beta version is already available:

Great!

A beta version is already available:
http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/FileZilla_1_9_8_beta_3.zip

But the bug is not fixed in that version. Still cannot create a new
directory directly, still cannot drag a folder and have the directory
created.

Here's another beta version:

All remaining MKD issues have be fixed

Thanks! beta_4 fixed the problem, at least on NetBSD.
