Description
Hi Team,
Files with lengthy file names are not getting downloaded and shows the error in failed transfers
The only solution found is to rename the file and resume the download.
Is there any way to overcome the issue
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
Problem affects me as well, I have set the long path names registry key as detailed here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/fileio/naming-a-file#maximum-path-length-limitation
Also it seems that filezilla is unable to access paths using the
?\D: notation, putting that into the location bar reverts to the normal path and the problems with path and filename length still occur.
I am able to download and access the files fine with other software, including rsync from cygwin which is just painfully slow because of its single download nature.
